Mark Nickel (Owner, RHIP)

Owner & Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Mark Nickel is a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner of 15 years, with an additional educational background of Computer Science and Business Administration at Simon Fraser University. He is distinguished for his technological skill and outstanding customer service. Outside the office, Mark enjoys golf, working on cars, handyman projects, and spending time with his wife and three young children.

Kris Hewitt (RHIP)

Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Kris has been a registered hearing instrument practitioner in BC since 2010, working in private practice and as a trainer for two global hearing aid manufacturing companies. He sold his private practice in 2019 and co-founded Pacific Audiology Group, providing online training and continuing education to hearing care professionals. He enjoys professional mentorship and has a keen interest in complex earwax removal cases, tinnitus management, and advanced hearing aid technology. Outside of work, Kris enjoys traveling to new places, skiing, playing tennis at Tsawwassen Tennis Club, and spending time at his cabin in Point Roberts.

Darlene Brooks

Darlene (many of you may know her as Dar) joined our team in March 2020 and has loved it ever since! She loves the opportunity to get to know our clients and serve them well - and the fun and crazy antics that come from working with Mark and the rest of the team are a great bonus! Outside of the office, Dar enjoys spending time with family (especially her two granddaughters), being in nature, lively conversations shared around the dinner table, and serving at her church.

Wendy Atkinson

Wendy joined our team as an office administrator at the end of 2022. She wanted to work in a field that would make a significant difference to seniors, and we can proudly confirm that she does! No matter the type of day you’re having, Wendy is always there to great you with a warm smile. Away from work, she enjoys live music, theatre, art, thrifting, helping people to declutter, and spending time with her family and friends.
